Washington Appraisal Services was founded in Seattle in 1968 and has operated in the States of Washington and Alaska on a continuous basis since. Although the firm specializes in the litigation and right of way fields, it has prepared appraisals on nearly all types of properties in both states for lending institutions and public and private clients. Garrett W. Waldner, MAI, SRA joined the firm in 1988 as Senior Appraiser and became President in 1993.

The firm has completed appraisals for most Agencies, Cities, Counties and State Departments in Alaska and Washington, including a number for the Washington Attorney Generals Office, in addition to numerous attorneys and private individuals.
